Time, Order, Purpose Organizing
Jessica Nowell – Owner
“I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we’re all teachers – if we’re willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.” Marla Gibbs
Jessica is fiercely committed to guiding busy, active, overwhelmed families toward a life with more clarity, authority and free-time in their lives to do what they love. Ultimately, she loves helping to open the doors for each family member to start realizing their greater purpose. If you are looking for a proven professional who can guide you to address overwhelm, lack of control and wasted hours, you have come to the right place. With 5 years of experience working with amazing clients with similar worries and concerns and guiding them to achieve remarkable success, her mission and commitment is to help regain time, order, and purpose in both home and business life while ensuring positive, lasting changes that can be instituted and maintained long after she is gone.
My path to become a Professional Organizer became clear at an early age. I grew up in a home surrounded by chaos, clutter and disconnect in the physical, emotional and spiritual realms. My parents divorced when I was just two years old and my siblings and I were juggled back and forth, often with a lot of drama and negativity surrounding each exchange. As this progressed, I started to grasp for ways to control even the smallest of things in my life. This lead to my sometimes obsessive organizational habits. By gaining control over simple things like my part of my room, or helping out with keeping the house clean and finding homes for different items that I knew everyone else would adhere to, my life became easier, and I like to think that I eased some of the tension throughout both of my households — at least sometimes.
I am a very firm believer that it is not a matter of when you decide to take control over your surroundings, but more of how you take control. Gaining control of even some of the simplest areas of your life will have a positive effect on so many other areas in your life.
Clients and employers say remarkable things about the impact my work has on their life and business success. Example comments include “Jessica helped avoid costly mistakes, such as overlooking information or missing appointments. She helped make a positive impression on clients, co-workers and visitors to our company. Jessica is responsible, serous about her job and capable of larger tasks.” – Paula G. Lisa H. says “I approached Jessica at TOP Organizing when I had finally had enough. Enough of feeling disorganized and overwhelmed with the sheer magnitude of all the stuff our family had accumulated over many, many years. We were starting to run out of storage space which was ridiculous. While I knew I could de-clutter and do it on my own I never did. I wasn’t actively looking for help at the time, but knowing that Jess would be by my side inspired me. I took action because I trusted Jess and knew she wouldn’t judge. The TOP approach is methodical and thorough. The best thing about the experience was I learned about how our habits had gotten us in the big fat mess in the first place. Thanks to TOP we have structure and order in the house. It is easy to maintain our new sense of calm and enjoy each other’s company without the big elephant in the room. I highly recommend TOP Organizing for people who need help getting organized in their homes or in their offices.” Similar benefits await when you decide to invite me to serve in the powerful ways that I can support your success.
What lights me up about this work is knowing that I am making a positive, lasting change in a family, helping them regain control over their life, home, business, and happiness. And ultimately helping them create the space to begin realizing their dreams, passions, goals, and purpose.
What sets me apart from other service providers is my 15+ years in the customer service industry. I have learned the necessity and benefits of actively listening to my clients and asking deeper questions. This helps to ensure that all needs and desires are fully understood, realized, and then can be completely met and addressed. There is definitely a coaching aspect to how I work with my clients as we work together to delve into the physical, mental, and emotional clutter. You can feel confident engaging me to guide you and your business to uncover and solve these problems.
Three things about me and my experience that might surprise and delight you – while serving our work together:
- For a 6 month period during my life I maintained 5 jobs (1 full time and 4 regular, part-time positions). This delicate balancing act helped me to highly hone my time management, planning and preparation, and stress recovery skills that I have since been able to share with many people I care for and have worked with.
- I am always a student. I regularly attend conferences, seminars, and other events in a variety of fields and areas of interest to keep my mind active. I am usually enrolled in at least one class online all the time.
- I taught gymnastics to children ages 3-16, from beginner to competitive level, for 5 years. As well as being a gymnast myself for over 20 years. This allows for a great understanding of how to work with and incorporate kids into the organizing process, as well as, an understanding and application of discipline and dedication.
