They will be sharing information on the Senior Peer Counseling program which is a partnership with Community Reach Center and the City of Thornton.
Nicole and Jaylin facilitate the training program and will talk to the group about program background, eligibility, expectations, goals, etc.
The Community Reach Center was the 2016 Winner of the Governor’s Outstanding Nonprofit Organization Award.
The opportunity being presented is something spouses or friends can do together.
Learn about the 7 week training program you can go through to become a “FIRST RESPONDER” for seniors who have no one to turn to for help. Must be 55+ to be a “Peer Counselor.”
