Comfort Keepers Home Care Mission
Our mission from day one has been to provide high-quality in home senior care. By offering assistance with activities of daily living and fostering the independence of our clients at the same time, Comfort Keepers has improved the lives of thousands of seniors across the United States.
We treat each of our clients as though they were members of our family. We are not a home care service provider that only offers assistance with routine tasks. We also provide companionship, compassion, and comfort. We aim to support our clients through all their endeavors, allowing them to age with dignity and grace.
The people who represent our nationally recognized brand of in home senior care are also known as Comfort Keepers. In addition to undergoing extensive screening and training, our caregivers have a heart for helping seniors remain active and independent. These caring individuals go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver the best possible care to each client and help them live the life they want to live.
Our Philosophy
To truly meet the needs of our clients, we developed a unique caregiving philosophy called interactive caregiving. Comfort Keepers aims to physically, mentally, and socially engage seniors through meaningful interactions with caregivers.
The interactive caregiving approach is based on four pillars, which all contribute to increased independence in seniors. These include physical activity, mental activity, proper nourishment, and added safety.
Our in home senior care experts build exercise plans for seniors, assisting clients throughout the exercise sessions as well. They also plan and organize enjoyable activities that can stimulate both the mind and the body, as well as provide plenty of opportunities for social interaction. Our experienced caregivers develop meal plans in collaboration with medical professionals too. Finally, they provide assistance with fall-proofing the home, reducing the risk of indoor falls and injuries.
At Comfort Keepers, we understand that seniors who take part in physical activities, maintain an optimal level of mental activity, and lead an active social life are more likely to be happier and healthier. Those older adults who lead fulfilled lives are also more likely to live longer and enjoy a higher quality of life.
With our interactive caregiving approach, we can truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve, no matter if they need in home senior care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care or transitioning care.
